Manager, Digital Transformation

BDO India

Runs two national government platforms for NeGD at the same time, with a team of 8. Project values: about ₹7 crore and about ₹21 lakh.

  • Led the 8th Pay Commission demand portal (about ₹21 lakh) from kick-off to go-live in about a month, across four organisations. About 21,000 demands are on it today, for a Commission that reviews pay for about 70 lakh people.
  • Took the Green Hydrogen certification portal, a project of about ₹7 crore, from the first meeting with the ministry to launch by the Minister on 1 July 2026. 8 certificates have been issued so far, towards India's target of 5 million tonnes a year by 2030.
  • Got both platforms through external security audits before launch. On the hydrogen portal, 48 of 51 internal findings were closed before the external audit began.
  • Scoped the Phase 2 AI work for both platforms. The hydrogen portal's is approved and in procurement.

Owned a $2M+ a year application portfolio (about ₹15 crore+) and a team of 35.

  • Ran about 55 applications that support wind turbines, with 20 people in delivery and 15 in support.
  • Took the unit from a complete loss to about 15% profit in six months, by fixing how the work was organised before reducing headcount.
  • Held 99.9% service levels on systems that run 24×7, and cut the time to fix a production issue from 4 days to under 12 hours.
  • Brought AI into ticket routing and closure in stages. It reached production and was not rolled back.
  • Reset the relationship with the client's senior IT leaders with a fixed reporting and escalation routine.

Senior Consultant, Government

EY India

Government consulting for several ministries, working directly with Secretary-level officers on approvals and scope.

  • Delivered the national cooperative registry for the Ministry of Cooperation, taking a paper-based office to a live platform. About 40 million members, about 1,800 societies, and application processing more than 70% faster.
  • Got the Multi-State Cooperative Societies Act amended so that electronic notices and digital signatures were valid. The amendments passed in about six months.
  • Moved 80+ government websites onto one common framework, with security audits and STQC certification.
  • Built a ranking framework for government websites (a project of about ₹5 crore), with IIT Delhi and IIM Indore, covering 150+ parameters. NeSDA uses it today.
  • Redesigned the Indian visa system (IVFRT 2.0) across airports, land ports and seaports, covering the process, the screens and testing.
  • Wrote the DPR and RFP for a new version of the National Portal of India, a project of about ₹23 crore, and onboarded the vendor.

  • Built Skillchain, a blockchain platform that records employees' skills and certifications, and took it to a unit-wide pilot at EY. About 80% of people joined voluntarily.

  • Built systems for a cryptocurrency exchange, a document-management platform and a civil records platform.
  • Designed the architecture, the APIs and the performance fixes for these products.

Started on mainframes for a UK client, then moved into blockchain.

  • Automated a manual card-dispute reconciliation on a bank's mainframe, saving about £200,000 a year by the client's own calculation.
  • Cut reported defects by 40% within six months by reworking the dispute-handling steps.
  • Built blockchain proofs of concept on Ethereum and Hyperledger Fabric. Two reached production, and the first blockchain lab on TCS's own infrastructure was set up as part of this work.
